והתלמיד. ר׳ שמואל־צבי לא הצטיין במידות אישיות בולטות, והיה
אולי טיפוס ייותר מאחרים לנוסח וורקה: לברך, אמונה תמימה,
עניוות רבה ודאגה לכל אחד מחסידיו, אהבת ישראל ומסירות
נפש. נפטר בשנת תרפ״ד ודברי תורתו נאספו בספר "תפארת
שמואל". מקומו ירש בנו ר׳ יצחק־מנחם, שנספה בשואת פולין,
