... משנתאלמן מסר את חנותו לידי בנו והתיישב בראדומסק לחלוטין, בשאיפתו להמצא במחיצת רבו. לאחר פטירת ה״תפארת שלמה" הסתופף בצל בנו ה״חסד לאברהם". חלה בעת שה״חסד לאברהם" ישב במעיגות הרפואה בחוץ־לארץ, והוא כתב לבנו: "אני מחכה לביאת האדמו״ר לביתי. ואז אין אני מפחד ומקוה שאבריא". אך הוא נפטר ביום ה׳ מנחם־אב תרמ״ח עוד לפני שהאדמו״ר הספיק לבוא, בגיל 86 שנה. במוצאי יום־כפור הקרוב כשהאדמו״ר אמר תורה על הנושא, שמי שדבק בצדיק בחייו — גם אחרי פטירתו הוא כפוף אליו, אמר: מה אתם סבורים, שר׳ קלמן איננו כאן? ...Connected nodes
