ואין לתאר חיי קלויז בלי הניגון. לכל יהודי נמשך לעולם
הניגון כמו למעיין המזקק, המעלה את חיי היום־יום ושבתות וחגים;
התפילה, סעודות ושמחות, מלאות זמירות ונגינה. החסידים שרים
בניגונים מושכים מלאי־כיסופים ויופי ל״בני היכלא״ בקלויזים,
לפני יציאת השבת. הניגון אצל החסידים הוא חלק מן קחיים.
בא חסיד מן הרבי — לא שכח להביא עמו ניגון חדש. ואם בעל־
מנגן הוא היודע לעבור לפני העמוד, הכרוך אצל החסידים בזמרה
ובנגינה, והיה הניגון החדש עד מהרה ל״שם־דבר״ בפי כל חסידי
