כה יעשה לי ה׳ וכה יוסיף, כי כוונתי היתה לשם שמים, ואני מודה בעצמי, שבטלתי את ה״מאשין־מצות״ לא מפני האמת, כי יודע אני, שהיא כשרה הרבה יותר מכל האפיות, שאין הבעלים עומדים לגבן, ואינה מועילה שום השגחה. הוכרַחתי לבטל את ההיתר, מפני שאיני רוצה להיות שימה בפי המלשינים והטפשים הנכנסים למקומות הגבוהים. ה׳ ירחם עלינו במהרה!"
