אוגוסט הראשון (1548—1506) היה לן בעיר במסעותיו לליטא (ליטא היתה באותה
תקופה מאוחדת עם פולין). כן בקר בלוקוב המלך יאן קאזימיר ב־1652 (תכ״ב) אחרי
שהקוזקים תקפו את פולין ובתוכה לוקוב (הכונה למרד בוגדן חמלניצקי ימ״ש בשנים
