ללוקוב הױגם שתי חצרות חסידיים — חוץ מן השטיבלך של חסידים אחרים, כמו אוהדי הגערער, קוצקער, רדזינער׳ אלכסנדרער ואחרים. אחד מהם היה ר׳ עקיבא מאיר, שקראו לו ״מיעכאװער רבי״. הוא היה קטן ומצומק, ישב ביום ולילה ולמד, הוא יותר צם כתענױת מאשר אכל. חסידיו היו יהודים בעלי בתים ובעלי מלאכה. לרבי היה בית מדרש ו
