בתי־הספר הממלכתיים, הלימודים העבריים — לפי
תכנית בית־הספר מיסודו של פרל. בירדהספר הוא
בסמכות משרד־המחוז ונתון לתחוקת בתי־הספר
הכלליים. בשבת ובחגי־ישראל לא יתקיימו בו למודים,
אך ביום א׳ וחגי־הנוצרים לא ישבתו מן הלימודים.
חובת־הלימוד חלה גם על נערות, הצעת הקהילה
שבית־הספר יקרא "בית־ספר יסודי לדוגמה" (מוסטער
האופטשולע) נדחתה ובמקומה נקבע השם "בית־ספר
אשכנזי־יהודי בלבוב" ("דויטש איזראעליטישע האופט־
שולע אין לעמבערג").
ב־16 באפריל 1844 אישר הקיסר פרדיננד 1 את
הצעת ועדת־החצר לעניני חינוך בתנאי של גביית
תוספת־מס לשחיטה כשרה כל זמן שלא יהיה הכרח
