יתירה. בספרו ״קנאת האמת״ (וינה, 1828) התקיף
את מבצר החסידות השנואה עליו, בהביעו דעתו בעד
תקונים בדת, והרבה לדבר על הצורך בתקון של סדרי
התפלה בישראל ובביטול אמירת הפיוטים, ועוד כהנה.
