מופלג. אחיו ר׳ דוד בן שמואל, מחבר הפירוש
לשולחן ערוך "טורי־זהב", דוד שהיה תלמידו של
אחיו יצחק, כיהן כרב בפוטיליטש הסמוכה לנימירוב
ומשנת 1653 בקהלה בחוץ־לעיר ב^בוב. בפי העם הוא
ידוע בשם "דער טורי־זהב". בית־הכנסת של נחמנוביץ
נקרא על שמו: בית־הכנסת "טורי זהב" ובשער
הכניסה היה חרות: "הוא מקום התפלה של טורי זהב".
