והיה תלמידו של שד״ל. בשנת 1849 אחרי שחזר ללבוב
נתמנה למורה־דתי בגימנסיה ולמרצה שפות שמיות
באוניברסיטת לבוב. בשנת 1854 עזב ד״ד איגל את
לבוב ונתמנה בתור רב בצרנוביץ. גם ד״ר בליכר
שנתמנה בשנת 1850 למרצה באוניברסיטה, לא הצליח
