בדצמבר 1735 לסטרוסטה ולעיריה לחקור את סיבות
הירידה ולהתחיל בתיקון הבתים והרחובות ההרוסים.
300 בתים נעזבו ע״י בעליהם בגלל מעמסת מסים. לשם
עידוד אישר המלך מחדש את כל החרויות והפריבילגיות
של העירונים, אולם ללא תועלת. ראשי העיריה היו
עסוקים בהמשך המשפטים נגד היהודים, שהוצאותיהם
