הבנין שהוקם בשנת 1582, היה אולם חד־סטווי,
כמעט רבוע — גודלו 9x11 מטר, בקירוב — עם
תוספת פרוזדור מצד מערב, ושני חדרים לצדיה. לאחר
שנים קבל ר׳ יצחק רשיון להרחיב אא הבנין, אך
הוא נפטר ואת השלב השני של הבנין ביצע בנו, נחמן,
