... סא. בית־הכנסת הגדול, הנקרא "סיקסטוסקא שוהל", ברחוב שאיניאכא. נוסד ע״י יהודי עשיר, נכבד ונדבן, ר׳ שלמה פלטץ, בשנות הארבעים של המאה הי״ט, בזמן שבנו את ה״היכל" ברחוב זולקיבסקא. מטרת יסודו של ביהכנ״ס ברח׳ סיקסטוסקא, מלבד היותו מקום תפילה לדיירי הסביבה, היתה כדי לשמש משקל נגדי של בעלי־בתים "אשכנזיים" בתוך־העיר נגד ה״טמפל". עד ימי המלחמה העולמית הראשונה ב־1914 התפללו בו צאצאיו של ר׳ שלמה פלטץ. ...Connected nodes
