חושן המשפט, והוסיף עליו חדושים והגהות, הכניס
כל הערה במקומה ברשמי "אמר המגיה" בהם בא
לפעמים כמעיר ומוסיף ולפעמים כחולק ומשיב, בשער
הספר ובההקדמה לא הוזכר שמו, אך בסוף הספר
הסכים להפצרת תלמידיו להודיע שמו בחתמו:
העומד על משמרת בית־המדרש הגדול הקלויז אשר
