... בלבוב, "הושע מיזם היה בשנות ה־60 של המאה הי״ט
מנהל הסניף של .,המוסד להלוואות" בלבוב. בן אחר
של המשפחה, הרמן מיזם, נבחר בשנת 1873 לפרלמנט
האוסטרי מטעם מחוז דרוהוביץ. ואף שמתחיהו,
המועמד הפולני, קיבל רוב מוחלט, נתבטלה בחירתו
של זה לאחר בדיקת מהלך הבחירות, ומיזס קיבל את
המנדט בלי בחירות־משנה (דבר ללא־תקדים בתולדות
הפרלמנט האוסטרי). בתפקיד זה שימש הרמן מיזם
עד שנת 1879, ולאחר שהפסיד את כל הונו, עסק
בעתונאות וזכה להצלחה רבה בגלל ידיעותיו המקיפות.
יש להזכיר גם את אמיל מיזס, ששימש במשך שנים
