משערים, שבבית קברות זה קברו את מתיהם גם
אנשי קהילת הקראים שעזבו את לבוב בסוף המאה
הט״ו ויסדו קהילות חדשות בגליציה המזרחית, בהאליץ,
דוידוב וקוקיזוב. זקני־לבוב היו מצביעים על רצועה
צרה על־יד החומה של רחוב שפיטאלנא, שהיה מקום
קבורת כת־הקראים. המקום היה ריק בלי מצבות, מלא
