... ז. ביהכנ״ס "אקספרס" ברחוב ז׳רודלנא. נבנה
ע״י הסבלים החשובים במקצוע, ובעיקר ע״י מרדכי
ווייזר, אחד ה״אקספרסניקים" המפורסמים בעיר,
שהתעשר והקים ביכנ״ס עבור סבלי "אקספרס", בעלי
מספר־רישום של העיריה, שמקום ריכוזם היה ע״י
"הדיפחיטן־בנק". כאן התפללו גם בעלי־בתים חשובים
שגרו בקרבת־מקום. הם הצטיינו בצדקה ובמעשים
טובים, ובנו ע״י בית־הכנסת אולם גדול לסידור חופות
וחתונות בשביל כלות עניות ויתומות, שאין ידן משגת
לשלם בעד אולם מתאים, ודאגו שהחתונה תיערך
בכבוד. כן יסדו קופת "הכנסת כלה" ועזרו ביד־רחבה
ליתומים וכלות עניות. בשנים האחרונות היתה שם
