במחנה היאנוביה היתה תזמורת יהודית של אסירי
המחנה׳ בתוכם מנגנים מפורסמים כמו יוסף מינד׳
יוסף הרמן, אדוארד שטיינברגר, שץ ואחרים, ומנהלה
היה לאון שטריקס. התזמורת אורגנה ביזמתו של
קצין הס.ס. ריכרר רוקיטא. "מילומך זה׳ בעל שמיעה
מצויינת׳ היה מאזין לנגינה ואם קלט צליל שאינו
נכון הסתער על התזמורת והרג ביריה את המנגן שהעז
לפגום בהרמוניה של הצלילים. ביזמתו של רוקיטא
נתחבר גם זמר מיוחד שנקרא "טנגו של מות"׳ שחובר
— לפי שספרו — ע״י הקומפוזיטור שץ. את "הטנגו
של מוות" היו מנגנים לעתים קרובות, ביחוד כשיצאו
מן המחנה פלוגות עבודה או קבוצות שנבחרו "אל
