האידי דוד קניגסברג (מי שתרגם לאידיש את הפואימה
"פאן טדיאוש"), ומזכירה היה המשורר האידי הצעיר
יעקב (יאנקעל) שודריך. בידי מספר קטן מן הסופרים
היהודים עלה להמלט מלבוב ולהגיע לרוסיה עוד בטרם
בוא הגרמנים. והנשארים בלבוב — נכרתו כמעט כולם
