היהודים חשבו את כרטיס־העבודה של בית־המלאכה ביאנובסקא לכרטיס "טוב", שהרי מי זה יעיז לחטוף בחוצות־העיר או להתעלל ביהודי׳ שבידו תעודת־עבודה של הס.ס. עצמה. לפיכך השתדלו רבים להתקבל לעבודה בבתי־מלאכה אלו, מלבד הפועלים שנשלחו שמה ע״י משרד־העבודה. גם "פושעים" פולנים נשלחו לעבוד שם. בסוף ספטמבר 1941 כבר היו בבית־המלאכה קרוב ל־350 פועלים יהודים׳ ובסוף אוקטובר 1941 — 580 יהודים ו־320 פולנים. בסוף ספטמבר 1941 הוקף כל שטח בית־החרושת גדר תיל דוקרני והוקמו בו צריפים, אך עדיין רשאים היו הפועלים לחזור לבתיהם כתום שעות־העבודה. בראשית אוקטובר 1941 חל מפנה יסודי: גיבויאר כינס את כל הפועלים היהודים למפקד (611 קק!/ ) ואמר להם: "מהיום ואילך אתם נשארים כאן׳" מאותו יום הפך בית־החרושת למחנה־עבודה׳ שנקרא בפי העם "המחנה היאנובי". סמוך לגדר התיל הוקמו מגדלי־משמר אחדים בהם ניצבו אנשי ס.ס. מזויינים ברובים אוטומטיים. בראש משמר הס.ס. עמדו הקצינים שליפה ( 6 קק 501111, שטלוורק 61-10 ^ 11 ? 54 וסרניץ ( 0142 ־ 5061 ) , . סרניץ ...Connected nodes
