טז. ביהכנ״ס "שמוקלארים" או "שניעק
שוהל", ברחו בלאחארסק בתוך־העיר, מיסודם של
בעלי־מלאכה, שקבעוהו מקום כינוס לחברתם, ולאחר
זמן הפך מקום קדוש לבעלי־בתים וחסידים שלא היו
מרוצים מסדרי ה״לובלינער קלויז" ומהמשמעת החמורה
ששררה שם. כאן הנהיגו תפלה בנוסח־ספרד. על
ראשי בית־הכנסת נמנו: ר׳ אליעזר דרימר (נפטר
1953, בת״א) וגיסו ר׳ אביש רוטה. בשנת 1921,
בפלישת הרוסים לפולין, שהה בלבוב במשך חדשים
אחדים, רבה של גלינא, הגאון ר׳ מאיר שפירא,
שהתגורר אז בסביבת ביהכנ״ס ואמר בו שעור ברמב״ם,
הלכות בית־הבחירה, בפני קבוצה של צעירי אגודת
