... הקהילה בגרודנד. גדלה והלכה במשך המאה הט״ז. המלך זיגמונט אוגוסט הפולני אשר בשנת 1547 את אגרת הזכויות, שהוענקה לגרודנד. ע״י הנסיך ויטולד בשנת 1389 (האגרת הזאת אושרד. מחדש ע״י המלך יאן קאזימירז׳ בשנת 1655 וע״י סטאניסל ב פוניאלובסקי בשנת 1785). באותו זמן גדל מספר בעלי-המלאכה בעיר ונמצאו ביניהם חייטים, פרוונים וכובענים העובדים בשביל האכרים. תמורת מס שנתי מסויים לצארים ניתנה לאומנים הרשות למכור את מוצריהם בשוק או בחנויותיהם.Connected nodes
