... עד הכבוש הגרמני לא היו בסוקולקה לא מפלגות, לא
מועדונים ולא תיאטרון. לפעמים הופיעה להקה מחוץ
לעיר, לפעמים התאספו ילדי בית־הספר בבית פרטי

בניה". עם כניסת הגרמנים בעירנו נוסדו "ליטערארישע
