קובנה, היה חתנו של הגאון ר׳ משה מרדכי עפשטיין
אב״ד ור״מ דסלובודקה (בעל ה״לבוש מרדכי״) עזר לו
להקים סניף לישיבה הגדולה בחברון עיר האבות, בארץ־
ישראל. ועדיין הוא ר״מ ראשון ומנהל ראשי של ישיבת
חברון בירושלים, חבר נשיאות "מועצת גדולי התורה"
בישראל ו״אגודת ישראל", נחשב כאחד מבעלי האו־
טוריטה הגדולים של היהדות החרדית וכהאחד המיוחד
משרידי תנועת "המוסר" מיסודה של הגאון ר׳ ישראל
