מגרש ה״שולהויף" היה משמש כמקום משחק והתגו־
דדות לילדי העיירה. סביב המגרש היו בית־המדרש הישן
בית־המדרש החדש, בית הכנסת המרכזי הוא ה״שול",
בתי "תלמוד תורה" ובית ספרנו העברי־מודרני
"תרבות". מכאן שמו של המגרש, "שולהויף"; מקום
של בתי־כנסת ובתי־ספר. הקיר המזרחי של בית־הכנסת
