הרב, ר׳ בצלאל, והיתה לו לזרא. תחת זאת אהב מאד
דיני תורה, בהם היה כוחו גדול והם שהוציאו לו מוניטין
גם מחוץ לעירנו. אף היה מוזמן לערים הגדולות, לדיני
תורה מסובכים, והיה חוזר בסיפוק רב. גם גויים, בסכסו-
כיהם עם יהודים היו באים להתדיין בפני ר׳ בצלאל ולא
