This Yizkor volume commemorates the Jewish community of Gargždai, in the historical region of Lithuania and Belarus and in present-day Lithuania. Produced in 1980 by the Gargždai immigrants’ organization in Israel, it is a substantial Yiddish-language community memorial likely to include historical remembrance and survivor testimony.
