This volume is a historical collection on the Jews of historic Bessarabia, now chiefly Moldova and partly Ukraine. Published in Hebrew in 1952 by Nativ, the cultural resources organization of Bessarabian Jewry, its 157 pages indicate a concise regional compilation of material on the community’s past.
