מקהלה מורכבת של בניו עם עוד 3—4 משוררים. שכרו לא היה
גדול כמו של חזן אמיתי, כי לא היה ביכולת הפרנסים לפרנס חזן
ממש. הוא היה חצי חזן וחצי בעל־תפילה. יודעי נגינה לא התקשו
למצוא אצלו טונים פגומים. היה איש ישר ונוח לבריות, שומר
אמונה, והמשיך תפקידו עד לשואה. בניו הצליחו להמלט מהשמדת
