בין קרשי מיטתי שמרתי עליו ולא גרעתי עין ממנו בטלטולי־
דרכי. השריד היחיד של הסתדרותי, בה גדלתי והתחנכתי, הגיע
עמי בשלום לארץ ישראל.
באפריל 1945 שוחרר המחנה שלנו על־ידי הצרפתים, וכעבור
שנתיים עליתי לארץ ומסרתי את דגלנו למזכרת ולגניזה במזכירות
