בסוף ספטמבר 1942 חזר אלינו בפעם השניה אליעזר גלר
והביא עמו 10 צעירים וצעירות, חברי גורדוניה מוארשה והסביבה.
אליעזר התייצב לפני מרין, שהתייחס אליו ברוב הערכה, והיה
מקבלו תמיד בסבר פנים יפות, ובפיו הצעה להצלת חלק מהנוער.
ואלה פרטיה: יש לו לגלר מכיר נוצרי מנהל משרד העבודה
בקאלץ. נוצרי זה מוכן תמורת כסף לצייד יהודים בתעודות־
עבודה מזויפות, ולשלחם על ממד דרכונים אריים לעבודה לגרמניה
ולאיטליה. תחילה הסכים מרין להצעה ואף הבטיח לסייע בכסף,
