בגלל המחאה שהוגשה לשלטונות בטענה, שהרב החדש הוא רך
בשנים בוטלו הבחירות הקודמות ונקבעו בחירות חדשות ל־20 ביוני
1914. גם הפעם קיבל הרב גרויבארט רוב קולות ונבחר כרב וכיהן
בתפקיד הזה עד 1920. לאחר מכן נסע לאמריקה ועד היום הוא
משמש כרב בעיר ברוקלין (נפטר ב־1942 — המתרגם).
בשנת 1921 נבחר לרב ר׳ צבי חנוך לוין ז״ל (גיסו של
האדמו״ר, רבי אברהם מרדכי אלתר מגור ואביו של ר׳ איצ׳ה מאיר
לוין, חבר הכנסת ומנהיג "אגודת ישראל" בישראל), שנפטר ב־1935.
