בתנועתנו בפולין היינו ההסתדרות המבוססת ביותר בכל
המובנים, והטפנו לדרכים ולעקרונות חדשים, לעצמאות התנועה
ולהשקפות ארץ־ישראליות. למטרה זו נוסד ועד מחוזי עצמאי,
שעסק באיסוף כספים למען ארץ־ישראל. בתנועה היתה לנו השפעה
מכרעת, וערב פרח המלחמה היינו קרובים לקבל את הגה התנועה
כולה לידינו, אך האגרוף הנאצי עקוב־הדמים עקר את בנין
היהודית התוססת על כל שכבותיה, מפלגותיה וזרמיה, ופועלי
