... בינתיים נתגבשה התנועה והגדירה את עצמה כתנועה עצמאית,
חלוצית ומגשימה. כל שאינו מגשים ואינו עולה לארץ — מקומו
מחוץ לתנועה. ההסתדרות היתה, לעצמאית, ולא אחת אירעו
סכסוכים בין הנהגת גורדוניה לבין ועד ה״התאחדות", הואיל ושתי
ההסתדרויות השתכנו במועדון אחד (בית נחום צוקרמן, רחוב
קולונטאיא) שהיה אמנם גדול ומרווח, אולם צר לשתיהן. היחסים
