בנסעו פעם בדרך פגש עגלה שלו, עמוסה עורות, וגלגליה
הקדמיים שוקעים בבוץ. העגלץ הצליף באכזריות בסוסים, אולם
העגלה אינה זזה מן המקום. אמר לו ראובן ליו ד לעגלון: — מדוע
תכה הסוסים, מוטב שתעזור לסוסים ותדחוף את העגלה. והוא עצמו
עמד ועזר לדחוף העגלה. בפתע נתכו ץ לארץ וקרא אל העגלון:
— משה, רואה אתה מה מוטל כאן? והרי מטבע זהב בן עשרה
רובל מתחת לגלגל. "אילולא הרבצת בסוסים ועזרת להם, כי אז
מצאת את מטבע הזהב..." לימים אמרו בבנדין, שליו ר עושה
