עתה התחלנו לטפלים ביציאתו של ד״ר נתן ע ק. נטלתי
דרכונו והובלתי כ״עצור" לסוסנוביץ (אחרת אי־אפשר היה לצאת
את הגיטו), כדי לבוא בדברים עם האחראי לעניני המשטרה
במרכז היודנראטים אהרן לוינשטיין, ולהתייעץ עמו. באופן
כללי, מבלי נקיבת שם, שאלתי לגורלם של יהודים שלא נרשמו
בשעתו לפי דרישת השלטונות, והם אזרחי חוץ, ומאידך, יודעים
עליהם השלטונות הגרמניים וודאי רשומים שמותיהם ותעודותיהם
בצנזורה. חששתי להזכיר את שמו של ע ק, כדי שלא לסכנו במקרה
של תשובה שלילית. לוינשטיין הבטיח לברר את הדבר עם
השלטונות ולהודיענו. ואכן, בפגישה השניה אמר שהתקשר עם
המשטרה הגרמנית ושיש להפקיד את הדרכון בידי המשטרה הגרמנית,
ועל בעליו לחכות עד שיבואו לעצורו ולהעבירו למחנה מיוחד לאזרחי־
חוץ. ואמנם, לימים באו שוטרי "משטרת הסדר" היהודית, הוליכו את
ע ק שכבר נתנסה בצרות ובטלטולים רבים — ליודנראט, ומשם
למחנה טיטמוניק בבואריה. כעבור זמן קיבלתי ממנו מכתבים בהם
אישר שהגיע בשלום. היה זה מקרה ראשון של חילוץ יהודי מהגיטו
(מלבד מקרי חליפין של אזרחי ארץ־ישראל בעצורים גרמנים).Connected nodes
