לחסידות והקים לה בה מבצר, בנישטאט ישב בנו רבי ױסף
ברוך אפשטין׳ בכינוױ הנודע ״היהודי הטוב׳/ שהיה מפורםם
מאד בפולין׳ ונפטר י׳ אדר תרכ״ז, ואחריו בא בנו ר׳ קלונימוס
קלמן הלוי אפששין מנײשטאט׳ שנפטר ט׳ טבת תרס״ג,
ובמקומו בא בנו ר׳ הײם מאיר הלוי מעיר־חדש׳ נפטר ז׳
טבת תרע״ד. בנײשטאט ישב גם רבי אבלי תלמידו של
״היהודי הקדוש״. עד למלחמת השואה ישב בנײשטאט נצר
