גאנץ אנדערש האט זיך נוהג געװען מיט זײנע תלמידים
ר׳ משה יקיר. פון זײן נאטור איז ער געװען א געלאסענער,
נישט קײן כעםן. געלערנט האט ער מיט א םפעציעלן גיגון און
פארנאכט נאכן לערנען האבן די תלמידים זיך געזעצט ארום
טיש, מהנה געװען דעם רבין מיט א פאר ציגארעטן, און ער,
דער רבי, פלעגט דערצײלן מעשױת אן א שיעור, פרײלעכע
און טרויעריקע, מעשױת װעגן בעל־שם־טוב און אנדערע גוטע
ײדן, װעגן רויטע ײדעלעך פון םמבטױן, אדג״ל. האט זיך
עמיצער פארזינדיקט, האט ער באלד געהאט א מעשה, װאס
האט אויף דעם ײנגל אנגעװארפן אזא פחד, אימה און חרטה׳
אז ער האט שוין פארזאגט א צענטן, און דאם האט געװירקט
