דער רב — א ײד א הדרת־פנים גײט ארויף אײפן בעלעמער
בײם ארון קודש, טוט אוים דעם הוט און בלײבט אין דער
יארמולקע. ער הײבט אן — צוערשט געלאםן און רואיק,
גײט ארום און ארום, פארטײטשט אײן פסוק נאכן צװײטן,
רעדט װעגן תבלית פון מענטש אויף דער װעלט און חשבון
װאם ער איז עתיד אפצוגעבן אויף יענער װעלט׳ ביז ער
קומט צו קאנקרעט צום ענין. ם׳טײטש — האט ער זיך
צעשריגן אין פאטאם — װי קומט צו אזעלכע פײנע באלע־
