בזאת לא נסתײמה המערכה. בױם השלישי בהױתנו
במושבה — בױם הששי בצהרים — הופיעה אמה של אחת
החברות והודיעה שלא תזוז מן המקום עד שבתה תחזור אתה
הביתה. כל שידולינו לא הועילו. בכתה והשיחה את לבה
שמױם צאת הבת למושבה לא בא אוכל אל פיה. לבסוף
הצלחנו להשפיע עליה בהבטחה כי בתה תשוב בױם הראשון,
אבל בלעדיה. שכרנו עגלה (למרות אמצעינו הדלים) ושלחגיה
