5 חברות וחברים (ואנכי ביניהם) נתאגדנו בשנת 1925 לקבוצה הכשרה, קודם לעלייתנו ארצה. הוצעה לנו חלקת-אדמה בת 2 דיסיאטין בלסוביץ. סייעו לנו בכך בעיקר יוסף ליפשיץ וזגר. עד מהרה הסתגלנו לחיי הכשרה: השכמה עַם בוקר, ועבודת יום תמים (בהפסקות לאכילה, והתיאבון היה גדול !). לאחר העבודה למדו כמה מהחברים עברית (אצל ברוך סלומיאנסקי). אחרים בלו שעתם בנגינה ובקריאה (,דבר", ,הפועל-הצעיר", אלטדניילנד). בשבתות ביקרו אצלנו אורחים רבים, מהם חברינו מהחלוץ הבוגר וחברי ,החלוץ הצעיר", ...
