אויף דעם צװײטן זמן האב איך אלײן איבערגענומען
די פירונג פון דער ישיבה, װעלכע איז מיט דער צײט שטארק
אויסגעװאקםן, מיר האבן געהאט תלמידים פון כאמםק, יא־
נאװע, מאטעלע, אנטאפאליע, קאברין, װי אויך פון בריסק.
מען האט דער ישיבה איבערגעטראגן אין גאם־בית־ה׳מדרש
און איך פלעג פאר די קינדער אלײן זאגן דעם שיעור יעדן
טאג. איך האב די תלמידים געװיזן דעם װעג װי צו לערנען
אלײן. זײ האבן אלעטאג געדארפט צוגרײטן א לײענען, דאס
הײסט, אלײן לערנען, און דאס האט געגעבן די קינדער חשק
צום לערנען. דער משגיח איבער די תלמידים איז געװען דער
אלטער ר׳ געצל, א חשוב׳ער ײד, װעלכער האט אויך ארויס־
געהאלפן די קינדער צו מאכן דעם לײענען. איך האב געזאגט
