בשנת הלימודים 1941-42 לא נפתחו בתי-ספר בגיטן,
אמנם כ? ההכנות נעשו. הילדים מנו לפי בתי-ספר. הכיתות
הוכנו,. באוקטובר 1941 הובאו ע"י הנרמנים רבבות יהודים
מגרמניה וצ'כיה, השיכון היחיד, שהתאים לקבלת אנשים אלָה,
היה בנייני בתי-הספר. הכול השלו את עצמם, שאחרי שיימצא
שיכון ?לבאים, יופעלו בחזרה בתי-הספר. בינואר 1942 אורגנו
במרישין חמישה בתי-ספר קטנים, שקשה לקראם בתי-ספר,
באמצע הכיתה עמד שולחן גדול, סביבו הספסלים, בפינה לוח,
