... אנו נתרכז רק על התפקידים העיקרײם. הקהילה הורכבה מן הראשים־הזקנים. לא ידוע
לנו כמה ראשים כאלה היו ללוקוב. כל ראש כזה כהן בתפקידו חודש. אחר כך בא שני
אחריו, כך שתפקיד ראש הקהל עבר מאחד לשני לפי רוטציה׳ לכן נקראו ראשים אלה
פרנס־חודש. הראשון של החודש הוא היה גם מוסד מיעץ ל״טובי־העיר״. ראשי או טובי
העיר היו יושבים בבית הדין היהודי של הגליל. הפרנםים נהלו את הקהילה והיתה להם
הרשות לקבוע את התקציב, ואפילו ללות כסף מאחרים. הם קבלו את כלי הקודש:
הרב, דײנים ושוחטים. ליד בית הדין היה דיין אחד שהיה מזכיר ה״םפרא״. השמש של
הקהל היה המײצג הרשמי של הקהילה בפני השלטונות (בפולנית נקרא האיש • . שקולניק).Connected nodes
