ליהודים לא התקיים בפרלמנט, כי למחרת, ב־6
באוקטובר 1848, פרצו מהומות בוינה, בהן נהרגו מן
היהודים: אדולף קאלינסקי, עמנואל אפשטיין, דוד
לב. המהומות גרמו למצור וינה ומהפכה נגדית של
הפלדמרשל הנסיך ווינדשגרץ. הפרלמנט עבר לקראמזיר
והמשיך שם בעבודתו. אולם לא הספיק להחליט בענין
האמנציפציה ליהודים. ב־2 בדצמבר 1848 עלה על
