מ־15000 נפש הועברו למקום בלתי־ידוע. בתחילה
רווחה השמועה כי התיישבו בערי השדה, ורק אחרי
חדשים אחדים נודע כי נשלחו למחנה־ההשמדה בלדץ
(8£1,2£0), סמוך לראווה רוסקה, ושם נרצחו — לפי
הידיעות הראשונות שהגיעו — בזרם־חשמל או בתוך
תאי־גז. לבוב היהודית היתה שקועה באבלות ודממת־
מות. כמעט שלא היתה משפחה יהודית אשר לא בכתה
את בניה שנטרפו. אך הילדים חדלו מצחוק ושעשועים,
ולמראהו של שוטר אוקראיני או גרמני, ברחו בחרדת־
