תחילת נוע ד המחנה לגברים בלבד, אבל אחרי
האקציות הגדולות בשנת 1942 הובאו למחנה גם
נשים רבות ונוסדה מחלקה עבורן, עד שנוצר מחנה־
נשים מיוחד, מופרש ממחנה־הגברים. מחנה־הנשים
היה סמוך למגרש־המוות (מקום עריכת האקזקוציות
במחנה), והיו בו באופן רשמי שלושים נשים במרס
1943. העצורות הראשונות בו היו 70 נשים שהובאו
אחר־חיסול הגיטו בז׳ולקב. הן עבדו בבית־החרושת
לאריגה אשר במחנה (.^\.^.ס) עד מהרה עלה המספר
הנשים והחלו להעסיקן במלאכות אחרות — במטבח,
בעבודות־הנקיון, באריזה, בחייטות וכר. מנהל מחנה
