איטאלוס, לבנות את בית־הכנסת. בשנת 1582 הוקם
הבנין שהיה בנוי בסגנון גוטי. סמוך לבית־הכנסת
בנה לו פאולוס את ביתו הפרטי שהיה קשור לבית־
הכנסת במסדרון־כניסה יחיד. החל משנת 1604 שימש
בית־הכנסת גם כמושב בית־הדין ומקום־גניזה של
