יצא לעבר לבוב. מפקד העיר, הגנרל קרישטוף
גרידזיצקי, פקד לשרוף את הפרברים. ב־25 בספטמבר
1655, נראו ליד העיר הפלוגות הראשונות של צבא
האויב, ולאחר זמן קצר החל מו״מ בדבר שביתת־
נשק. הגנרל הרוסי בוטורלין העלה בתנאיו את
הדרישה להסגרת כל היהודים, על נשיהם, ילדיהם
