... בפברואר 1606 יצאו לוארשה מיופייכח הקהילה
נחמן בן יצחק, אהרן בן ראובן והשתדלן מנדיל. אולם
בינתים התאספו האצילים בוארשה במספר קטן ולכן
לא היה בידי היהודים לפעול דבר. הישועים מצדם
לחצו על העיר לקיים את פסק־הדין. העיריה דחתה
אולם לבסוף דרשה מהם "תעודות־נתינה" וקבלה את
התעודות.
ב־28 בפברואר 1606 באו לקבל את בית־
הכנסת. מרדכי בן יצחק, אחיו של נחמן עמד בפתח
ביתו כשבאו הישועים. נציגי העיריה ופקידים, הכניסו
אותם לתוך בית־הכנסת ומסר הכל לישועים בלי שום
